The Doctoral School's governance structure is composed of its Management Committee and the academic committees of its PhD programmes.
 

The Management Committee is made up of the director of the Doctoral School, as chair, the coordinators of each of the PhD programmes, and one member of administrative staff, who may contribute to discussions but does not have voting rights.

The Doctoral School staff comprises the director of the school, the coordinators of the PhD programmes, the members of the academic committees, the thesis supervisors and the PhD students' tutors.
 
Recipients of UOC Doctoral School grants are also members of staff, as are the recipients of any other grant, provided they are doing their doctoral programme full-time on site at the UOC. The Doctoral School's administrative staff are tasked with seeking to ensure that all the PhD programmes and other Doctoral School activities run well.
