The UOC's Research and Innovation Committee has decided to grant six postdoctoral research fellowships, lasting three years. The objective of this call was to attract new postdoctoral researchers to the UOC. As a new element introduced this year, a UOC panel of experts assessed the applications using criteria that included more qualitative and social factors, in addition to the metrics of candidates' publications. To conclude the process, interviews were conducted with each of the twelve best-assessed candidates.
The selected candidates will form part of the following research groups:
- Communication Networks & Social Change (CNSC), IN3.
- Digital Media and Culture (MEDIACCIONS), UOC Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
- Genders in Transition: Masculinities, Affects, Bodies, and Technocience (MEDUSA), UOC Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
- Global Literary Studies (GlobaLS), IN3.
- Internet Computing & Systems Optimization (ICSO), IN3.
- Crisis, Otherness and representation (ALTER), UOC Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
