To help students attend conferences and do predoctoral research stays

The UOC Doctoral School has announced a funding call for students working on their doctoral thesis online at the University. With a budget of 3,000 euros, this funding will help cover some of the expenses involved in attending events or doing predoctoral stays related to their research.

For expenses related to conferences, science lectures or similar events, students must submit proof of having been formally accepted at these events. The funding may cover expenses such as registration fees, plane or train travel, accommodation, meals or other means of transport, following the procedure set out in the rules. Proof of expenses must be provided within 15 days of the expenditure.

Applications and deadlines

After reading the rules, you can apply for funding by sending the following form to preaward_osrt@uoc.edu, together with the documents required. The funding only covers expenses for events taking place in 2019. Applications will be accepted until 1 November or until the budget allocation has been used up.

Decisions regarding applications will be given within 15 working days following submission.
