Visiting researchers

Rebahi Elchaimae is a PhD student at the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (Algeria). Invited by the K-riptography and Information Security for Open Networks (KISON) research group, the aim of her visiting stay is to enhance knowledge and skills in speech watermarking using deep learning techniques.

Jessica Bou Nassar is a PhD candidate in Information Technology at Monash University (Australia). Invited by the research group Communication Networks & Social Change (CNSC), the purpose of her visiting stay is to study transformative strategies that facilitate the integration and anchoring of initiatives related to people-centered data governance, through a comparative case study between the cities of Barcelona and Melbourne.

Marvin Heine is a doctoral researcher of the Faculty of Philosophy at the Institute of European Ethnology, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Invited by the research group Care and Preparedness in the Network Society (CareNet), the aim of his stay is to collaborate with the interdisciplinary and international forest fire research group 'PyroLife', led by Prof. Israel Rodríguez-Giralt, whose goal is the advancement of holistic and integrated wildfire management.

Chunghong Li is a PhD candidate at the School of Systems Science at Beijing Jiaotong University, China. Invited by the research group in Complex Systems (COSIN3), his research interests are related to urban resilience.

Isabel Alejandra Pemjean Contreras is a PhD Student in the School of Public Health, University of Chile. Invited by the research group Gender and ICT (GenTIC), her research lines are Public Policy, Public Health, Anthropology of Health, Nutrition, and Gender.
