Visiting researchers

Dr. Judith Igelsböck is postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. Invited by the research group Care and Preparedness in the Network Society (CareNet), the purpose of her stay is related to her reseach interest in digital twins. By now, digital twin technologies have mostly been deployed in industrial production. As variety of intelligent tele-care, they are also envisioned to enhance the monitoring of human health conditions in the future.

Gonzalo Matías Correa Moreira is an associate professor at the Faculty of Psychology, University of the Republic, Montevideo, Uruguay. Invited by the Care and Preparedness in the Network Society (CareNet) research group, his research area focuses on social psychology.

Laura Eccher is a PhD candidate in Regional Science and Economic Geography at the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) in Italy. Invited by the research group Urban Transformation and Global Change Laboratory (TURBA Lab), her research focuses on exploring alternative experiences that have arisen in response to the digital platformization of urban areas from a feminist perspective.

Roel Roscam Abbing is a PhD student of the School of Arts and Communication (K3), at Malmö University. Invited by the research group Urban Transformation and Global Change Laboratory (TURBA Lab), his visiting stay will allow him to consolidate his research and expand his research network while he works on the final stages of his doctoral thesis.

Ismael Yrigoy Cadena is a Ramon y Cajal Research Fellow at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. Invited by the research group Urban Transformation and Global Change Laboratory (TURBA Lab), one of the aims of his stay is to carry out exploratory field work in Barcelona to complement his empirical studies about rentierism.
