Using Augmented and Virtual Reality to Discover Castelldefels's Past

As part of Science Week, the UOC and Castelldefels Town Council have organized a talk titled "Using Augmented and Virtual Reality to Discover Castelldefels's Past" by Luis Villarejo, expert in augmented and virtual reality in the university's Technology department. The event will take place at Castelldefels's Fernandez Jurado Library and showcase technology developed by the UOC. Villarejo will help bring to life a rhinoceros from 160,000 years ago excavated by researchers from the University of Barcelona at the nearby Rhinoceros Cave.
 
The event is open to everyone. If you'd like to attend, you need to register in advance by emailing biblioteca@castelldefels.org or b.castelldefels@diba.cat.
 
The talk will be in Catalan.
